Canine Companions is thrilled to announce a new public service announcement in celebration of National Service Dog Month! Created in partnership with long-time national partner Eukanuba, the video, “Help Them Meet Their Match Sooner,” tells the story of Kya, a pre-law college student living with arthrogryposis multiplex congenita and the training and placement of her Canine Companions service dog, Sprinkle.

Thanks to our proactive community members across the country, numerous cities and states have officially declared September as National Service Dog Month! This is a huge step forward in highlighting awareness about service dogs and the life-changing impact they bring to people with disabilities. Ensuring service dog rights are promoted and protected, these proclamations are also indicators of increased inclusivity.

Strength in numbers! Let’s make our communities more inclusive for people with disabilities and their service dogs all months of the year. By signing this pledge, you’re voicing your support for service dog rights and informing legislators and policymakers to take a stand.

Siblings Emery and Elmer are here to steal your hearts! These fluffy future service dogs need your support to make sure they become helping heroes for their future partners. With support of just $10 a month, you can help them become successful working dogs.
