June 2023 eNews

In a heartwarming event last month, the remarkable duo of Canine Companions graduate Grace and her service dog, Justin, graduated as a united team from Seton Hall University in New Jersey. As they proudly crossed the stage together, an extraordinary moment unfolded; Justin received his own diploma! He received an honorary “goodest service dog” degree for attending all of Grace’s classes with her. Grace, a Canine Companion graduate from the Northeast Region, plans to pursue her dream of becoming an elementary school educator with a focus on special education.
