The 26th Annual Tales & Tails Gala Was An Amazing Event

On October 22, more than 600 community leaders, valued partners and special guests gathered to support the mission of Canine Companions at the 26th annual Tales & Tails Gala. The event celebrated the incredible love, enhanced confidence, and joy that service dogs bring into the lives of people with disabilties. We are grateful for the event sponsors, donations, and gifts we received that will make such an impact in the lives of the people we serve.

Guests heard stories of love!  “My journey with Canine Companions began with a simple meeting, and now with a gift that has transformed my son’s life.” – Shannon Cogan, mother of Colt, with his service dog Wink.

And guests learned how  private pilots are transporting “precious cargo.”*

Proceeds from The Tales & Tails Gala allow us to empower more people with disabilities by partnering them with an expertly trained service dog – free of charge. From puppy to hero, Canine Companions leads with independence.

Save the date for the 27th annual Tales & Tails Gala on October 21, 2023.
