Orlando, FL…. January 5, 2022…The next time you enjoy a beverage at World of Beer (WOB) you will be making a difference in the lives of adults, children, and veterans with disabilities. Through March 31, 2022, participating World of Beer Bar & Kitchen locations will show their support for a great cause in their communities by donating $1 from the sale of every Sierra Nevada Hazy Little Thing on draft (or a featured beer), as well as $1 for every Tito’s Sparking Greyhound to Canine Companions.
“We are grateful for the support of World of Beer,” said Marcia Dowds, Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations for Canine Companions. “Our amazing dogs allow people to live independently and are provided free of charge to adults, children, and wounded veterans. There are more than 400 people waiting to be matched with an expertly trained service dog and this partnership is changing lives.”
World of Beer’s WOB Gives Back program began in 2019 to support its local communities. Since its inception, the program has raised thousands of dollars for a variety of charities. Over the years, WOB Gives Back has created many amazing brewery partnerships, including this year’s partnership with Sierra Nevada. In addition, World of Beer has partnered with Tito’s Handmade Vodka on the very first WOB Gives Back cocktail, Tito’s Sparkling Greyhound. World of Beer is excited to kick off another great WOB Gives Back with Canine Companions!
