Happy Golden New Year! Since creating the concept of service dogs 50 years ago, we’ve provided a total of more than 8,060 service and facility dogs to clients completely free of charge, thanks to supporters like you. Discover more about our mission, history and come celebrate this monumental milestone with us at our events like Coffee & Canines happening throughout the year.

This Valentine’s Day, share the gift of puppy love with a meaningful gesture! Sponsor Wynn or Winston on their journey to becoming life-changing service dogs. Your sponsorship supports their growth and training—and as a special keepsake, you’ll receive a plush puppy wearing a customized, limited-edition red heart tag.

Start off the new year by making a difference in the disability community! Whether you choose to microvolunteer or take on long-term projects, your efforts make an impact. Learn about opportunities and ways you can help by visiting our volunteer page.

We were honored to be represented in the Rose Parade on New Year’s Day, thanks to our partnership with Lions Clubs International and Lions Project for Canine Companions. Our client, retired U.S. Army Sergeant Steve Blackman, along with his Canine Companions service dog, Priscilla, rode on the Lion’s Club’s float, accompanied by our volunteer puppy raisers.
