We’re thrilled to share that Canine Companions CEO Paige Mazzoni is a recipient of a North Bay Business Journal 2026 Influential Women award!
Since becoming CEO in 2018, Paige has led Canine Companions through a period of transformative growth. Annual donations and gifts have increased from $38.6 million to $62.5 million, while the organization has grown from 280 to more than 320 employees. Her leadership has expanded the organization’s nationwide footprint and increased the number of expertly trained service dogs provided free of charge to people with disabilities.
Paige combines the strategic rigor of a seasoned technology executive, with a deep commitment to mission-driven work. Her ability to combine pragmatic business management with vision and compassion is what makes her a truly exceptional leader. Paige’s leadership philosophy centers on purpose and meaning. Rather than focusing only on organizational metrics, she has rallied Canine Companions around a singular goal: reducing the waitlist for individuals who depend on service dogs for independence and opportunity. Paige has built a stronger, more innovative organization capable of changing more lives each year.
Paige shares, “I’m humbled and grateful to receive this recognition in the company of the amazing women in our community bettering their communities. It is an incredible honor.”
Please join us in celebrating this honor, and thanking Paige for her leadership.
