National Puppy is celebrated annually on March 23, and this year Canine Companions celebrated all month long with our future service dogs – destined to make an impact in the lives of people with disabilities.
National Puppy Day featured a live puppy cam highlighting eight-week-old future service dogs as they romped and played, ate and slept, and began their life-changing journeys.
Check out some of the highlights of the day at canine.org/puppycam!
For the next two years, these puppies, and many more like them, will be raised and expertly trained to help provide enhanced independence and confidence to children, adults and veterans with disabilities at no cost.
You can help the puppies of today become the service dogs of tomorrow by becoming a volunteer puppy raiser at canine.org/raise.
