SANTA ROSA, California – A new look and feel can breathe life into an organization; especially one with an already powerful mission and brand. Since the new brand rollout in 2021, Canine Companions’ look has been described as empowering, diversifying, energetic and flexible. Ragan’s PR Daily Awards* took notice and announced Canine Companions as an honorable mention in the rebrand category.
Ragan’s PR Daily Awards highlights the top communications campaigns, events, initiatives, publications and more that were instrumental in the success of organizations and clients. Canine Companions was chosen from a wide pool of entries to receive recognition for its work.
“We are honored to be named honorable mention for this prestigious award,” says Canine Companions CEO Paige Mazzoni. “Not only is brand awareness important from a marketing perspective, but a recent survey of service dog users also showed that individuals partnered with a Canine Companions service dog were 36% less likely to be denied access to public places than those whose service dog was not from Canine Companions. That’s the impact of a brand!”
The new look was implemented in all marketing materials, featuring a new slogan, “Lead with Independence,” capturing the leadership of the organization as the largest provider of service dogs, and the difference in independence a trained service dog makes for people with disabilities. All canine equipment sports the new brand, reaching millions in the community each year.
Ragan’s PR Daily Awards celebrates the top communications campaigns, events, initiatives, publications and more that were instrumental in the success of organizations and clients. Ragan held a special award celebration on November 2 at the Edison Ballroom, recognizing the best communications work from the past year.
