Canine Companions graduation ceremonies honor people with disabilities placed with specially trained assistance dogs nationwide. This celebration marks the end of an assistance dog’s professional training and the beginning of a partnership between a human in need and a canine that will provide endless service and companionship. Graduations are open to the public^ and a wonderful event you won’t forget.

COVID-19 Update: Canine Companions is taking precautions related to the coronavirus (COVID-19). All remaining graduations in 2020 will now be private and closed to the public. We understand that this decision may be disappointing, but we know it is in the best interest of all.  Please note: While the ceremonies won’t take place, we are committed to moving our mission forward and will be working directly with students to deliver some curriculum through distance learning to the best of our ability. While we can’t gather together and celebrate these teams, please enjoy the slideshows honoring the new partnerships.
