Western Colorado’s largest summertime gathering of outdoor sports enthusiasts will have some special guests to meet at 8,000 feet this June.
Members of the Vail Valley Volunteer Chapter, along with Collar Scholars representing the University of Colorado – Boulder and Colorado State University, are set to represent Canine Companions at the 2026 GoPro Mountain Games, June 4-7.
Almost 100,000 athletes and supporters converge on Vail, Colorado, each year for this celebration of outdoor athletics. Competitors from across the United States and Canada meet in events that include mountain biking, kayaking and rock climbing.
The GoPro Mountain Games double as a festival of all things outdoor lifestyle. For the Canine Companions volunteers promoting the organization, healthy living and giving back make for a natural combination.
The Vail Valley Chapter will share the benefits of said combination all weekend at the Canine Companions booth, and with an appearance on the GoPro Mountain Games Influencer Stage.
The Influencer Stage, located in the heart of the action at Vail Village, showcases the Games’ various sponsors and high-profile participants. Canine Companions representatives, including Southwest Region board members Molly Berman and Nick Kemp, shared the life-changing impact of puppy raising from the Influencer Stage at the 2025 event.
