While serving in the U.S. Army, Cpl. David Medina was wounded in combat, leaving him with life-altering injuries, including hearing loss and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Canine Companions Service Dog Kellen has transformed David’s life by mitigating his PTSD symptoms with tasks like anxiety interruption and creating a buffer in crowds. Over 550 veterans, children and adults are waiting to be paired with their own service dog – and the list is growing. Right now, you can help TWICE as many people by donating today thanks to a $100,000 dollar-for-dollar match donation from an anonymous donor. Make a difference and support a brighter tomorrow for people with disabilities.

After going through all our adorable puppy photo submissions, we’ve narrowed the cover options down to three – and now, we’re turning to you! Help us choose the photo that will grace the cover of our 50th Canine Companions Puppy Calendar by submitting your vote. The winning cover model will lead us through our golden year in 2025.

Meet the newest duo from the sponsor a puppy program – Myrtle and Milton! This precious puppy pair is already on their way to becoming future service dogs. With your help, they’ll be sure to have the love and support they need to get through puppyhood. As a sponsor, you’ll receive exclusive status updates, a mini plush and other special gifts.

Join the fun at your local DogFest and celebrate the joy dogs bring to our lives. Enjoy an incredible afternoon with fellow dog lovers, participate in fun activities, learn more about service dogs and supporting our cause all at the same time! Registration is free, and fundraising is encouraged for the ultimate experience.
