Host a Fundraising Event

Thank you for your interest in hosting a fundraising event to support Canine Companions. We are grateful for your support and appreciate your partnership in helping advance our mission.

An Independent Fundraiser is a fundraising activity organized and managed by an individual or third party to benefit Canine Companions. These fundraisers are not hosted, staffed, insured, or endorsed by Canine Companions.

There are two ways to fundraise in support of Canine Companions: DIY Fundraising and Independent Fundraising.

DIY Fundraising

Celebrate a birthday, wedding or other event and raise funds online with your own personal fundraising page. DIY Fundraising allows supporters to raise funds using a personal fundraising page. All donations made through a DIY fundraising page are processed and received directly by Canine Companions. Customize your content, add a photo, share the link with family and friends and enjoy your event!

Independent Fundraising Events

Independent Fundraising Events refers to fundraising activities organized and managed by an individual or third party on behalf of Canine Companions. Funds are collected and managed by the organizer and later submitted to Canine Companions.

Canine Companions does not host, staff, insure, or manage Independent Fundraising activities.

Application & Approval Required

All Independent Fundraisers must submit the Independent Fundraiser Request Form at least 60 days prior to beginning their fundraiser. Canine Companions will review requests and respond in writing within 10 business days.
