Northeast Region
The Hudson Valley Chapter encompasses puppy raisers, graduates and volunteers in the Hudson Valley area north of New York City. The mission of the Hudson Valley Chapter is to raise awareness, recruit new puppy raisers and volunteers and support one another’s work on behalf of the Canine Companion’s mission. If you’re looking for deeper engagement as a Canine Companions volunteer, we encourage you to get involved with our chapter. The Hudson Valley Chapter is an extension of the Northeast Regional Training Center.
We are a lively network filled with opportunities for social engagement, from puppy classes to fundraisers. Beyond the satisfaction of doing good work for Canine Companions, lifelong friendships are often formed among chapter members. If you are interested in working with our chapter, contact us. Canine Companions® DogFest is a national family- and dog-friendly event. We celebrate our love of dogs and the bonds we share, while raising money and encouraging volunteers to support the mission and educate the public about our life-changing work of providing expertly trained service dogs to people with disabilities free of charge.

The Hudson Valley Volunteer Chapter will be having an awareness/fundraising table at the Palisades Center Mall in West Nyack, NY on Saturday, December 14, 2024. Join us at the food court from 11 am-4 pm!
