Northwest Region
The Treasure Valley Idaho Chapter consists of enthusiastic volunteers, puppy raisers and graduate teams from Southwest Idaho. Our mission is to support Canine Companions through fundraising and community awareness.
If you’re looking for deeper engagement as a Canine Companions volunteer, we encourage you to get involved with our chapter. The Treasure Valley Idaho Volunteer Chapter is an extension of the Northwest Regional Training Center. We work to raise awareness, recruit new puppy raisers and volunteers and support one another’s work on behalf of the Canine Companions’ mission.
We are a lively network filled with opportunities for social engagement, from puppy classes to fundraisers. Beyond the satisfaction of doing good work for Canine Companions, lifelong friendships are often formed among chapter members. If you are interested in working with our chapter, contact us. The 2026 Columbus Auto Dealers Concert for a Cause® will support Canine Companions with a country music night featuring Chris Young and Chase Rice on August 8, 2026, at KEMBA! Live Outdoor in Columbus. Proceeds will help provide expertly trained service dogs at no cost to people with disabilities, veterans and children.
Canine Companions Senior Events Manager Meredith Harrison has been named Bloomerang’s Fundraiser of the Year at the second annual Givie Awards during GiveCon 2026. Recognized for leading a national events strategy that raised more than $6.3 million in 2025, Harrison helped expand awareness, volunteer engagement and support for the organization’s service dog mission.
