In honor of Texas Independence Day, On The Border Mexican Grill & Cantina* is teaming up with Tito’s Handmade Vodka* to raise funds and awareness for Canine Companions for Independence, an organization that trains and provides assistance dogs free of charge to people with disabilities.
Throughout the month of March, guests at On The Border that donate $5 or more will receive a $5 coupon to use during a future visit.
To add to the excitement, On the Border will host a “Yappy Hour” at five restaurants – Addison, College Station, Lubbock, Valley Ranch and Waco – on Texas Independence Day, March 2. During Yappy Hour, from 4-7 p.m., dogs will be welcome on the patio, and customers can snag Tito’s Vodka for Dog People* swag and try a Tito’s Lime Fresca. Best of all, during each Yappy Hour event, Canine Companions for Independence service dogs and team members will be onsite to provide demonstrations and information about the non-profit organization.
