In August of 2018 Buckeye stole the hearts of the central Ohio community as he joined the NBC4 morning team. He allowed people to see the journey that every Canine Companions puppy goes on, as they learn the basics of what it means to be a service dog. In November of 2019, Buckeye finished the first chapter of his journey and entered professional training. After months of training, Buckeye is now living out his purpose as a service dog by the side of his new partner and best friend, Kian.
