In honor of Canine Companions’ 50th anniversary, Bread Financial made a generous $500,000 gift, demonstrating their dedication to our mission and celebration of this milestone. Their support was also evident through creative and engaging events, including a joint activation with the NHL’s Columbus Blue Jackets, where players walked into the arena accompanied by service dogs, one of our veteran clients was honored during the game and our volunteers and staff had the opportunity to meet fans at the event.
Bread Financial further brought the celebration to their employees, hosting anniversary celebration parties across several of their office locations filled with fun activities and associate engagement. Their partnership not only raises awareness of our work but also directly impacts the lives of people with disabilities, helping them increase independence, confidence and companionship through expertly trained service dogs.
