Massapequa resident Bob Goldfarb was surprised to meet the future service dog he named while running the Boston Marathon.

The Emerald Coast Volunteer Chapter of Canine Companions encompasses the Florida Panhandle, surrounding areas, Alabama and Mississippi.
Chapter members include graduates, volunteers, puppy raisers and donors who are enthusiastic about support the mission of Canine Companions – providing expertly trained service dogs for people with disabilities, free of charge.

Town’s First Dog Park Honors Two Beloved, Loyal Former Residents
